More than the launch of a premium beachfront development, the event reflected a broader vision—bringing together international investment, government support, quality construction, and meaningful community partnership to create sustainable long term growth.

LIREP THE REALTOR was on site to capture the key announcements and insights from the project's leading stakeholders.

Saraya Resort & Residences official launch at Pengantap Beach, West Lombok, 27 June 2026
On the ground International investors, village leadership, construction leadership, and Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism aligned on one message: Saraya is designed as a long term catalyst for West Lombok—not a short cycle property play.

A Long Term Vision for Buwun Mas

Opening the event, Adrian, CEO of Kinnara Capital, thanked the local community, partners, investors, and stakeholders for supporting the project from its earliest stages.

According to Adrian, Saraya Resort is not simply another real estate development. It is the beginning of a long term commitment to grow together with the local community.

"We want to take the community along on the journey with us."

He emphasized that Kinnara Capital intends to create sustainable employment opportunities for local youth, experienced workers, and the wider community while developing tourism that benefits everyone.

Adrian also revealed that Saraya Resort represents only the first chapter of Kinnara Capital's vision for Buwun Mas. With strong confidence in the area's natural beauty, peaceful beaches, and welcoming people, the company hopes to introduce additional developments throughout the region in the years ahead.

Community First: A Lasting Legacy

One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony was the symbolic handover of a newly completed children's playground to the people of Buwun Mas.

Rather than waiting until project completion, Kinnara Capital chose to deliver a community asset from the very beginning.

The playground represents more than a recreational facility—it symbolizes partnership, shared prosperity, and the company's commitment to improving the wellbeing of local families while creating a lasting legacy for future generations.

Village Government Welcomes New Economic Opportunities

The launch received a warm welcome from the Head of Buwun Mas Village, who expressed optimism that Saraya Resort would become an important economic catalyst for the region.

He hopes the investment will generate significant employment opportunities, stimulate local businesses, and improve community welfare through sustainable tourism development.

For many residents, this marks one of the first major international tourism investments in the area, creating new expectations for long term regional growth.

Built to International Standards

Quality construction remains one of Saraya Resort's highest priorities.

Pablo, the project's Construction Manager with more than 25 years of industry experience, explained that his role is to supervise every aspect of quality control throughout construction.

He praised PT TSG, the Indonesian contractor responsible for the project, describing the company's workmanship as outstanding.

According to Pablo, the display home is progressing smoothly, with construction maintaining both excellent quality and an efficient delivery schedule.

The combination of experienced international project management and skilled Indonesian construction professionals is expected to ensure that Saraya Resort meets international standards while remaining on schedule.

Strong Support from Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism

The event was also attended by Vincent Djibaru, Principal Expert in Tourism from Indonesia's Ministry of Tourism.

He highlighted Indonesia's strong tourism performance, noting that the country welcomed approximately 15.35 million international visitors last year.

Australia remains one of Indonesia's strongest tourism markets, contributing approximately 1.75 million visitors, with the Ministry targeting between 2 and 3 million Australian tourists in the coming years.

Policy signal Vincent reaffirmed that Lombok (Mandalika) continues to be recognised as one of Indonesia's Five Super Priority Tourism Destinations, alongside Labuan Bajo, Borobudur, Likupang, and Lake Toba.

He also explained that the Indonesian Government continues to strengthen tourism infrastructure through more than 30 international airports and is working to expand direct international flight connections from Australian cities including Perth, Darwin, Broome, Brisbane, and Melbourne.

Additionally, he confirmed that Indonesia continues attracting significant international investment interest, including discussions involving major investors from Qatar for strategic tourism developments in Lombok and Labuan Bajo.

A New Chapter for Lombok's Investment Future

The launch of Saraya Resort demonstrates that successful tourism development extends beyond luxury real estate.

It reflects an integrated approach where responsible international investment, government support, professional construction management, environmental appreciation, and community empowerment move forward together.

  • For investors, Saraya Resort offers exposure to one of Indonesia's fastest growing tourism markets.
  • For the people of Buwun Mas, it represents new employment opportunities, improved community facilities, and stronger economic prospects.

As construction continues, Saraya Resort is positioning itself not only as a premium beachfront destination but also as a benchmark for sustainable tourism investment in West Lombok.
